Quick PM News Conclusion
On the whole the both units have similar abilities 2.5 to 3 hrs recording at 1080 at 30fps, similar quality video recordings, similar prices £299 – £350
The VHoldR picks up more wind noise with a more sensitive mic which can be turned down. Video only on this unit so no photo option. Cool dual laser point of view to line up your video angle, great easy record switch 110° and 135° wide angle is ok.
The GoPro Hero HD. Very wide angle 127° and 170° with the ability to shoot 5mp photos every few seconds. Remote mic option. Of the two I love the look and feel of the VHoldR really easy to start and stop recording, but the versatility of the GoPro is excellent it comes down to what you will be using the camera for and is very much a personal choice. They are both great products producing excellent video for their size and price.
